Fun is over, school is back

The dang Tigers get swept by the twins, that stinks and tomorrow they take take on the RedSox.

This is going to be quick…

Parents are complaining about the mod boys coach and the AD had a meeting with the team. Kind of sad. They were actually boldly telling the athletic director how to coach the team. On one hand the coach does need help and isn’t great (much of why I am helping) on the other hand I was kind of surprised I am surprised how bold they are.

They were boldly saying the kid I put on second base should not be playing second, unless they were winning by twelve runs. In front of the kid, adding the kid doesn’t even want to play second. The AD asked the kid and he said he didn’t want to play second. Well not after that situation presented. when it quieted down I asked him if the choice was between playing and not playing, he said second would be okay… He thought about it and said: “The only two positions I don’t want to play is, pitcher and catcher.” So I guess second base would be okay.

I feel sorry for the coach because he really doesn’t get it. He does get that the kids are arrogant brats that need to be knocked down a rung, and though he gets mad, he doesn’t really get it.

if he will let me I will have the kids run a mile and let the b-level players learn how to play the infield
