When the Crazies get information

I am bummed, depressed, a short one I guess. The tigers are 1-8 and playing really bad. So bad that one would think this is going to be the season ahead of us.

Unfortunately, as bad as I feel about the Tigers, I made an internet mistake. I posted a message using Google that logged in my e-mail address. I didn’t realize it would do that. Not such a bad thing, but for two things. One it is an e-mail that would draw people here and I posted it on a Tiger Usenet group where there are two people that read and post messages that I really think are psychotics. The kind of people that post things that can only be considered lunatic fringe. On top of which any time I post they post insult upon insult. While I might taunt with comments about being blowhard, these are the kinds of people the fbi warn you about.

If (or once) they show up here, it will be the end of this and I will have to migrate off line. It is two easy to search people out now days.

What is kind of frightening about these guys is to look at the posts them make on the Tiger Usenet group. They are relentless and have driven a group that was fairly active four years ago— and to some extent even last year — to their own hate posts. They post a response to every post on the board, in addition to the few negative threads they start. Most of the posts are them pointing out that the other posters are not as smart as they are. Fact is they are right, there is no way to keep up with them.… And there is no one that can match them when it comes to name calling. I don’t how bad they are because I filter them out, and only see their posts (in replies)when someone responds to them.

I once had a classmate find a story I wrote two years ago and taunt me about it, as if it was something relevant about her. So I know how things will pan out.

And with the internet there is little you can do… you can’t just ask someone to close their cake hole.

Unlike the person I know, the teaching and idiotcy can can much further with someone who has acted fairly irrationally all ready.

Well I guess it is time for a new site and nickname.
