sorting a thousand words

Had a scrumptious lunch/dinner today. (Dinner/Lunch because I want to cut down on eating late in the day.) I sliced up a chicken breast added it to sauteing onion and ginger — with a little touch of scotch. I put that on a wrap with romaine and olives. It was great. I am hungry all over thinking about it. Yum

I had fun today making the puppet to the left. We have the worse president ever — as far a corrupt — surpassing even Nixon and I had the pleasure of living though both. Now I am sure there have been bad democrats and I know a lot of people hate Clinton — they now hate Hilary too — but I don’t even know how you could even compare him to what Bush has done.

tigers.jpg The Tigers are off, I need the break from the suffering. Cleveland won today, but tigers.jpgthe Big Cats are still in first place.

I did so little, but vacuum and wipe up the kitchen floor. I did go through some of the pictures. Mostly transferring pictures from one computer to another. A lot of them from my college years — where I was the social director. I wasn’t the director, I was just following the party. O the time my roommate got drunk at Karaoke …It’s funny, in one year there were a lot of interesting stories.

It’s been really hot the last couple days, but fortunately it is cool at night — sleeping weather as they say.

o well — I need to end, I think I am going to finish reading my book: Riding with the Blue Moth, by Bill Hancock. I love those traveling books — maybe I will be grateful for that tomorrow….

Gratitude (3)

  • I am grateful for my ability to do things that I want to — like a bush puppet
  • I am grateful for window fans.
  • I am grateful for cool nights
