man with the cross

There is a guy who carries a cross in front of the abortion clinic, near where my friend lives. I kind of admire him, though I probably disagree with him politically. I admire anyone who will dedicate that much of his life to protest what he doesn’t believe in — what he actually thinks is morally wrong. I am not sure I would carry the cross. I guess that is another reason why it would be tough for me to be a Super Hero.

So, I guess, if you aren’t doing the IM, you are searcing the myspace pages for members of the other gender. At least that is what the guy next to me is doing. It seems like these computers should have the urinal set ups —- where there is a mini-wall between the patrons so there is some privacy in an un-private place. I singed up for the wrong computer — that is one that doesn’t have internet on it. Oops I am wrong, you just have to work the system to get to it.

I need the word-processing software, to print out my friend’s resumè, but mostly I want to check e-mail and post this, of course I need some word-processing to do that…. Of course I think all the computers have word processing and internet, you just need to figure a way to get to it.

They kicked some kids out of here, which surprised me. There is a sign at every computer letting you know there is ‘only one person per computer’ and ’No Exception’ is in red just so you know they aren’t fooling. That said, it is the first time I have seen them enforce the rule. Actually I don’t think the three were kicked out because of too many to a computer. I think it was more a cause of miss-use. When I came over to the computer they had been turned off. I think they might had been turning off each other’s computers and —- worse —- giggling about it.

Not sure if I think if it is all that bad but most of the non-adults have headsets on. These are either connected to the computer so you can hear the myspace songs or to an iPod.

O — now I am reminded I am about a month away from returning to work.. Good Golly. I am out of the helpful stage of my job. That is I am not jumping up helping people find 627.3 or shouting out an author people can’t remember — but on my internal ‘Jeopardy’ game I am doing that.

I am down to 24 minutes —- I am hungry and want a nap, so I might not be here much longer. Hmmm, the breeze just kicked up, I didn’t notice it from this seat. Not bothering my eyes.

tigers.jpg The Tigers frustrate me. Ugh!

There was a double header and they lost. I think they have lost three of five games played since I have been here. It’s turning me off to baseball. I am not sure if I want to watch Cleveland play — though I have to say as frist place goes, the Tigers are still there. Partially because the Indians are not taking advantage of the Big Cats stumbling. The Detroiters can still win the series with the White Sox, but they have to win the next two games.

And the Mudhens lost last night in the game we attended.

I have been successful in making a denstist appointment. Clearly my interests in writing a play are pretty lame –> as in lame O.

That is an awful lot of crunches. Wow.

  2. Take my count with a grain of salt, it is laying on my back and lifting up about four inches…and it isn’t at once. I do about 180, rest — do some mini-squats — then do 120 more crunches over and on
