Had two fresh tomato sandwich for brunch, excellent. There is nothing like a fresh tomato
Sheeish, I was just sitting over, readying the newspapers — all nice and comfortable-like, now over here at the computers I have the chilled breeze. It is
more annoying that uncomfortable, but it does dry my eyes out.
Tall ships are coming into port on Friday… Not sure where I could see them from. This is also to say I am still not sure when I am going back, I should call my school today, if I can remember.
Didn’t get much exercise in — though I rode my bike. But here everything is flat so even though I rode further than I normally do, it took me a third the time to do so. And hardly got my heart rate up to numbers I would if I was going up a home town hill.
Just noticed that the bla blah got more hits, lots more and it looks like this might be a record month— perhaps I should be on the road more.
Plans for tonight is to go to a baseball game, but before we are going to some bar that has cheap tachos (tacos) and margaritas. Should be a cool (literally and figuratively) night. The Mudhens are in first place as are the Mighty Tigers.
The Tigers won last night, though a tough outing for Andrew Miller. Relief did the job though and Todd Jones got save #27 — magical 27. I like it when the call-ups from Toledo do well and Mike Hessman hit a game winning double. The win kept the Big Cats two games up on the Indians (who lost to Boston last night). And though Boston has won more games, the Detroiters currently have a higher winning percentage.
Time to start looking at the clock — 30 minutes left.
o crap-o-la the internet is locking up on this computer… Which might mean I don’t have a chance to post this.
The Big Cats play tow games today, one at two and one at 8, the times are relevant to Chicago time zone. Hopefully I can tune the radio in for both games. Jeremy Bonderman is pitching the first game and in the second game it is a Mudhen bring up: Virgil Vasquez. The irony here is the pitcher for the White Sox in the first game is Javier Vazquez. I guess with so many Latin ball players it is just inevitable there could be a Vasquez/Vazquez match up — when who knows. I guess it is the same chance as a Smith/Smithe match up. Or even a Miller/Miller game.
Couple older teens bookending my spot at the computer and both are dancing from one IM screen to another. I guess some of the dangerous aspects of that — personality-wise is people now do things in more of a vacuum. These two are discussing with their friends what they should do about the girl with the sleeping avatar.
I need to do some crunches and pushups. Fortunately that won’t get in the way of a nap. I was going to ride the bus downtown, but I am not sure if I will ride the bus at all.
With sixteen minutes left, I think I will end….
