I spent no less than two hour shoveling snow. It took me about half an hour to shove to the generator house. And in that time, an inch or two had fallen. It is light snow, since it is so cold out.

I went to bed early, tired more than worrying about getting up, though I expected a call at 6 a.m. — and got one — telling me there was no school. I slept in.

Interestingly, there wasn’t all that much snow on the ground at 6 a.m. Maybe about four inches, most of the snow came down from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it didn’t let up after that. At about 5 p.m. I shoveled 30 inches of snow off my truck and when I snow shoed back at 6 there was another 10 inches or soon the truck. I snowshoed, because even though the driveway and road had been plowed, it was pretty bad.

The snow is so heavy that most of the schools in a 90 mile radius have already canceled for tomorrow. haven’t done much than shovel and pla on the internet. I am half way through listening to “The Austere Academy”

The snow wasn’t very heavy since it is so cold out, but when you have so much to shovel.… I am hoping that the guy who plows is going to plow tomorrow. I don’t get him. He would have been smart to plow the area about four times. If he plowed every time there were eight inches he would have it done. Now he needs a front end loader to do a proper job.

It’s 10:56 p.m. and even though I slept in, I am tired. I think it’s time to head to bed.

This would have been the perfect day to be with little bird and snuggle around. I wonder how her relationship with her daughter is going. I have looked at the daughter’s myspace and it is the kind of thing that makes me think she is in a bit of trouble.

We did well in basketball on Tuesday. We played maybe 8 seven minute sessions and had the lead in most of them.
