the morning blog

I don’t write much in the morning. Partial because I am not a morning person. Actually it’s not what I am not, it is what I am. I would always try to stay up later than try to wake up earlier. If I am going to have breakfast with someone I would be the one who says lets meet at 10, when they are saying 6 .m.

Today I am up earlier that I wanted, with the weekend and all, I thought I would sleep later than 7:45 a.m. Today will be kind of busy for me. The play is tonight, I have the drive home and not a lot of time to write a blog. Less time to do any exercises. Maybe time for a nap. I am feeling a little run down, so I want to keep rested.

tigers.jpg The Detroit Tigers lost a tough one last night. Not only did they lose a lead in the last inning, it was to a team that we could and have beat 15-2. Minnesota lost as well, but there after game radio announce mad a good point — heading into the post season, you don’t want to back into anything.

That is you want to be winning at the end of the year and not getting the division championship because the other team lost more than you did. I don’t know what is worse, doing well all year and petering out, which is what they have done of late; or if in the playoffs they collapse and lose 3-0 in the playoffs. With the four teams in the AL headed for the playoffs, any one of them could win the world series, against any of the NL teams. Though the yankers seem like the dominate team right now, I say they have less than a 50-50 chance of representing the American League.

bike skeleton.gifI think the Tigers can do it, but their odds are a little less.

Because of the play, I will miss much of the game tonight. That might true of the sunday game as well, if I go on a hike.

Just dawned on me, I might not ride my bike much more this year. I am not taking it to my house today and after this weekend, who knows what October’s weather will be. In fact, it is 32 degrees…so maybe no rain, just snow. It is going to be a great drive today, autumn has it going on.Speaking of that ride, I should get going…sooner I am there the sooner I can think about a nap.

I mentioned to the teachers at ‘happy hour’ that I was no longer dating the girl of my dreams. It was funny since they just assumed there was something wrong with her. I told them it was because I was a jerk and they said, “She didn’t say that.” No, I did, and I think you can be right but still a jerk, not that I am right much and have lock on the jerk market.

One last thing. The play has lots of innuendoes to performer Beck, mostly the lyrics of one of his songs. I don’t know him, but I met his mother, Bibbe Hansen. I would consider this play to be a Beck play, The previous couple were Fountain of Wayne plays. I am thinking the winter carnival play will be a Weezer play. Usually there is a band and/or song that I over-listen to in writing the play. This one was “Loser.”

always tired

always tired

A good day in school. Another fire drill….seems like those make the day go.

tigers.jpg Blah, the tigers lost today while I was at work to Toronto. Tigers have had a great season, but I worry it could be at the end. I guess we have until Monday and at least three more games. As much fun as they have been, they have to turn it up a notch in the playoffs or plan for next year. Hopefully the Royals can beat the Twins and Detroit will have sole position of first place.

I haven’t figured out what I am doing this weekend. I will be at my play on Friday, I am pretty sure I am leaving for there on Saturday. I really hope to sleep in both Sunday and Saturday.

Laundry night…Jean day tomorrow — funny since I don’t own jeans, but usually I just don’t wear a tie and a flowery shirt and give a little donation to what ever cause we are collecting for.

This has been so boring of late, and of late there has been quite a few people stumbling upon it…might explain why they only stay for a couple seconds.

Not bad

Not bad

The observation went okay. It always seems that I end up with a goofy thing. Last year a kindergartner said: “who farted.” Today a kid said: “I want to look up Captain Underpants — poopy adventure”

The kids actually did better than I expected. Which made me look better than I am.

Had an Open House, that was fun. It is a good school year so far. I like my new aide and it doesn’t seem to be much conflict.

tigers.jpg Tigers need to do a little better. Twins are losing though. Be nice to finish better than the yankers, who are winning. I guess it is safe to lose, but we played so badly in August, it would be nice to finish tough. I am hanging for the end. It’s now 7-4 in the top of the ninth. And the final score, but the twins lose…o well.

fighting the connection

fighting the connection

So I call MLB.com - audio, and ask why I can’t connect. I had a problems with my cable connection at home and they suggested a couple things and I got it working. They are suppose to call, but haven’t, with a mac expert.

I get observed tomorrow. I think I would like to see an excellent lesson so I know what is good or bad. During my days of college I had an observation that I thought I was near flawless and got a mediocre review from a professor. I feel good about it.

Rode my bike the first time in a while. I rode maybe a mile, but it was a little difficult for me, having not ridden for a while. The crunches were easy and did a few extras, same with the squats.

Funny thing, slept eight hours last night and still felt tired in the morning and I even felt like a nap…until the bike ride.

tigers.jpg Tigers win another, keeping pace with the yankers for best AL record (both 95-62).
